Laxey Bay Wins Hollypark Feature

Laxey Bay came from off the pace to beat the favored Double Found by a nose Thursday in the $42,000 allowance feature at Hollywood Park.

Laxey Bay, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye, went to the front at the head of the stretch to pass Double Found and Old Alliance. Early pacesetter Old Alliance, with Alex Solis, finished a neck behind Double Found, ridden by Chris McCarron.

Time for the mile on the turf was 1:34 1/5.

The 4-year-old paid $5.60, $2.60 and $2.20 as the crowd’s second betting choice. Double Found, entered with Stylish King, returned $2.60 and $2.10. Old Alliance, coupled with Now Listen, paid $2.60.
