‘Notorious’ Madonna

Share

Madonna may be all that she and her worshipers see her as, but the price of her stardom and self-proclaimed depth seems to be coldness, intimidation and hostility.

To criticize Kevin Costner for praising her show with the adjective neat only shows her lack of openness and narrow way of thinking. She may believe her show is “very disturbing and moving,” but most go to her shows for pure enjoyment and escape. They take with them whatever they can or want and can express their enjoyment in a single word or a lengthy discussion.

That she feels so “slapped in the face” that she must simulate throwing up shows that Madonna’s still stuck on the subject of her early hit “Material Girl.” It would seem that one must use just the right words or have just the right look to be respected in her plastic world.
