Van Nuys Man, 18, Stabbed to Death
An 18-year-old Van Nuys man was fatally stabbed early Saturday in what police believe was a gang-related killing.
Los Angeles police found Vladimir Alexandro Herrera with several stab wounds to the chest about 2 a.m. in the 6700 block of Hayvenhurst Avenue near Vanowen Street, said Sgt. Alan Hovious.
Two gang members are sought in the slaying, Hovious said. Herrera had been seen arguing with the two men earlier.
Herrera was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center where he died as a result of the chest wounds, Hovious said.
