Driver Held: Car Hit Sign, Tree, Pole
HUNTINGTON BEACH —
A driver was arrested Thursday after he lost control of his car and veered off a road, injuring himself and a passenger, police said.
Neil Martin Nevis, 28, was driving east on McFadden Avenue just before 2 a.m. when his car struck a sign, a tree and an electrical pole, Police Lt. Jeff Cope said.
His passenger, Maria DiSalvo, 26, also of Garden Grove, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with internal injuries. She was reported in fair condition there Thursday night.
