Rolf Aldag of Germany became the first double stage winner and Atle Kvalsvoll of Norway retained the overall lead for the third consecutive day in the longest stage of the Tour Du Pont bicycle race at Winchester, Va.
Aldag, who also won the third stage Sunday in Arlington, Va., was timed in 8 hours 21 minutes 9 seconds in the 170-mile Homestead-Winchester road race, which included two steep climbs and was the longest individual race stage in U.S. cycling history.
