Worker Killed in Tractor Accident
A worker was killed early Saturday evening when he was struck by the bucket of a tractor he was repairing at a construction site in Northridge, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The man, whose identity was not released, was crushed by the bucket when it fell from its raised position, said Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells.
The victim was pronounced dead at the site, at Reseda Boulevard and Plummer Street, Wells said.
