San Diego
Thanks to the involvement of a neighbor, police were able to arrest a man in the act of robbing and sexually assaulting a mother of three in her East San Diego home, police said Monday.
David Labra, 28, of the 4800 block of Rolando Court chanced to look out his bedroom window about 2:15 a.m. Sunday and saw a man climbing through an unlocked window of his neighbor’s home, police spokesman Bill Robinson said. Labra immediately called police, who interrupted the crime, he said.
Police arrested 39-year-old Willie Low on suspicion of first-degree burglary, first-degree robbery and sexual assault. Low’s bail was set at $150,000.
Labra will receive a commendation from the Police Department, Robinson said.
