Fair Promotes Child Care
To entice more businesses into providing child care, the “Say Yes to Kids!” Faire will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at General Dynamics’ Missile Park, 9115 Clairemont Mesa Blvd., in Kearny Mesa.
More than 15,000 children and their families are expected at the daylong event, which includes free pony and train rides, spin art, face painting and carnival games.
San Diego employers are sponsoring the event to benefit the San Diego Child Care Coalition, a nonprofit organization established in 1986 to persuade public and private-sector employers to provide employees with child care assistance.
