When an angry golfer in Hamilton, Canada, broke his club against a tree, the shaft struck his partner in the temple, embedding in his skull.
Rick Pearce, 39, was unconscious and in serious condition after surgery to remove the foot-long section of club. Police in the province of Ontario did not release the name of the golfer who smashed his club. No charges were filed.
