A federal appeals court in Cincinnati ordered a U.S. District Court to dismiss Olympic 400-meter world record-holder Butch Reynolds’ lawsuit against the The Athletics Congress, national governing body of track and field. Reynolds, the 1988 Olympic silver medalist, is challenging TAC’s action in suspending him from competition based on a positive test for steroids after a meet last August in Monte Carlo.
