RUFFLED FEATHERS: Veteran folk singer Odetta (F1) helped pave the way for two generations of politically aware women musicians, from Joan Baez to Tracy Chapman. . . . But when word got around in Garden Grove that she would be appearing with the Orange County Symphony there Saturday, “some civic leaders” were upset, reports symphony manager Yaakov Dvir-Djerassi, who arranged the appearance.
