Connie Petracek, of Nashville, Tenn., scored 857 points, breaking the national record by 9.3 points to win the women’s air pistol competition at the U.S. International Shooting Championships at Chino. In men’s free pistol, Ben Amonette of Radford, Va., won with 1,211 points.
