Charlotte Coach Gene Littles denied there was a rift between him and Hornet Vice President Allan Bristow.
Littles had said that the Hornets would make Nevada Las Vegas’ Larry Johnson the top pick in Wednesday’s NBA draft, but that he preferred Syracuse’s Billy Owens. Later he amended that by saying Owens might be the top player available but that Johnson better satisfied Charlotte’s needs.
