Fallbrook Slaying Suspects Sought
Sheriff’s deputies are searching for three suspects in the fatal front-yard stabbing of a man in Fallbrook. One of the assailants is believed to be the brother-in-law of the victim.
Officials identified the victim as Jacobo Cruz, age unknown. Deputies said the victim and assailants had been drinking when a fight started late Saturday night.
The stabbing took place in the front yard of a rented home in the 400 block of Elm street that Cruz shared with his wife and brother-in-law, authorities said. After the stabbing, the assailants fled in a car.
