Humble, Tex . 77347 (800) 29CAKES What would happen if you crossed an Eskimo Pie with a slice of rich New York-style cheesecake? You’d end up with a Texas Teddy Bar.

It’s a chocolate-coated frozen cheesecake-on-a-stick invented by Lawler Foods, a Texas cheesecake specialist. “Some people use a lot of flour in their cheesecake,” says Lawler’s Stacia Cowan, “but we don’t cut corners. We use good ingredients, mix them the right amount of time--long--and then bake the cakes at several temperatures to keep them from cracking.”

What they end up with is wonderful stuff. But when the slices are dipped in chocolate and frozen on a stick, they become even better. It’s as if the best cheesecake you’d ever eaten had decided to go out and live it up.

Teddy Bars, which are Kosher certified by the OU, come in packages of 16 for $27.95 or 32 for $49.60, including postage.
