Woman Dies of Car Injuries
A 58-year-old woman died Friday from injuries she suffered in a car accident the day before.
Delores Schenkel of Laguna Niguel died at 12:30 a.m. at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo.
According to Sheriff’s Department investigators, Schenkel was driving her Nissan Sentra east on Crown Valley Parkway at 2:40 p.m. Thursday when her car collided with the back of a truck which had stopped at a signal light at Greenfield Drive.
The driver of the truck was uninjured, authorities said.
