Pole-sitter Charlie Glotzbach went the final 50 laps on one tank of gas and ran away with the ARCA 500-kilometer stock car race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, averaging 157.890 m.p.h. over the 2.66-mile high-banked oval and winning $14,175.
