Victory Promotions Inc. won a $386,542 judgment against Top Rank Inc. in connection with Sugar Ray Leonard’s fight against Roberto Duran on Dec. 7, 1989.
Mike Trainer, president of Victory Promotions and Leonard’s attorney, said the award rendered by a three-member commercial arbitration tribunal of the American Arbitration Assn., represents the unpaid balance of Leonard’s $15-million purse.
