Authorities found no evidence of foul play Friday when they inspected the pickup truck of a Ramona woman who has been missing for a week.

Homicide detectives are asking for help in looking for Lynette Lancia, 40, who was last seen Aug. 2 when she left her home in the 1200 block of H Street to go shopping, said Sgt. Roy Stamper of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

When she failed to return later that day, her husband, Robert Lancia, went to look for her at North County Fair in Escondido, where she frequently shops, Stamper said.

Robert Lancia notified authorities of her absence Aug. 5, Stamper said. According to the husband and family friends, there were no problems between the couple that would cause her to leave without saying anything, Stamper said.

On Friday, Robert Lancia found his wife’s 1988 dark brown Ford Ranger pickup in the parking lot near the Robinson’s store in Fashion Valley. Her purse and keys and some items purchased Aug. 2 were in the truck, Stamper said, but found no evidence of foul play.

The missing woman was described as white, 5-foot-9, about 143 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.
