Twin Boys Drown After Fall Into Swimming Pool
Twin boys drowned Wednesday evening after they fell into the pool of a Tujunga home, authorities said.
The 2-year-olds, who were not immediately identified, were found in the pool in the 10500 block of Silverton Avenue at 7:30 p.m., Los Angeles police Sgt. Lee Allen said. It was not immediately clear whose home it was or what their relationship was to the toddlers.
City firefighters pulled the boys out of the pool. They were taken to Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale where they were pronounced dead, he said.
Police also did not immediately know how the boys ended up in the pool or who found them.
