Luis Mendoza of Colombia, the World Boxing Assn. junior featherweight champion, will make his fifth title defense on Sept. 16 at the Forum against Raul Perez of Mexico.
Mendoza, 26, is 31-2-2 with 18 knockouts. Perez, 24, a former WBC bantamweight champion, is 47-2-1 with 30 knockouts.
