Porter Out of Place in the Dodger Booth?
Today’s Larry Stewart column (Aug. 9) was the last straw. It has been hard enough to take the continual plugging of Jim (I’d Rather Be Bree) Lampley, but when he suggests that Ross Porter belongs in a broadcast booth, he has gone too far. No one takes Porter seriously. I will not listen to him or buy any product he advertises.
Why not let Al Downing have a chance? He is a professional, knowledgeable and pleasing to listen to. There are two pros in the booth now; let’s add a third.
