Real Culprits Behind Death of Woman
I was both appalled and incensed by the totally inappropriate headline, “Victim in ‘Wrong Place at Wrong Time’ ” (Aug. 6) for the article about the shooting victim killed as she peacefully drove by Bowling Green Park.
Please note, the victim had all the right in the world to be where she was. It was the criminal gang members who were in the wrong, totally and completely.
It is this type of twisted logic, blaming the innocent victims instead of the criminals, that is playing a major role in the rapid decay so evident in our society.
