Woman, 52, Is Killed When Car Hits Tree
A Chatsworth woman was killed Monday after she lost control of her car, which slammed into a tree, police said.
Young Cha Choi, 52, was driving south on Tampa Avenue near Chatsworth Street in Northridge when the accident occurred shortly before 9:30 a.m., Los Angeles Police Officer Rodney Gregson said.
The car bounced off the curb on the west side of the street, then struck a tree in the center divider, Gregson said.
