Mike Tyson appeared before a special grand jury in Indianapolis that is investigating an accusation that the former heavyweight champion raped an 18-year-old woman who competed last month in the Miss Black America pageant.
Tyson is scheduled to fight heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield on Nov. 8 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The woman told police Tyson raped her July 19 in a room at the Canterbury Hotel, where the boxer was a guest.
No charges have been filed against Tyson, who has denied the accusation.
