SIMI VALLEY : Child Club to Help Working Parents
- Share via
Simi Valley parents who work outside their homes can leave their children at school before or after classes under a program sponsored by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District.
The See Me Before and After School Club, will start on the first day of school this week, park district spokesman Rick Johnson said.
The before-school program will run from 6:45 to 8 a.m. on school days. The after-school club will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both programs will be offered at each of Simi Valley’s five elementary schools, Johnson said.
In both the before- and after-school clubs, a park district worker will supervise the children in recreational activities, Johnson said.
The before-school program costs $40 per month. The cost of the afternoon supervision will range from $115 to $180 per month.
Parents may register their children either at the schools or at the park district’s office at 1692 Sycamore Drive. Call 584-4400 for more information.
