Test Biases
Let those who charge the Scholastic Aptitude Test with racial and sexual bias devise a test free of bias (“Math, Verbal SAT Scores Fall in U.S., State,” front page, Aug. 27). Their standard of fairness requires that the graph of score distribution be identical for all groups--white, black, Latino, Asian-American, male and female. I want the public to see the ludicrous questions of a test that would yield politically correct results.
