Who Was Worse, Connors or CBS?
I am 71 years old and I love the game of tennis. It is exercise, competition and the sport of some control.
Witnessing the disgusting behavior of Jimmy Connors and the overwhelming jubilant support of those fans was a tribute to the demoralization of sportsmanship and utter contempt for fair play. How dare he show our younger people that you can rub our noses into the dung of disrespect for all order because he is 39 years old.
Aaron Krickstein, overwhelmed by the audience and his opponent’s behavior, deserves the kudos of respect and best wishes.
