Drug Bust Nets 9 Arrests, Limos
Escondido police arrested nine persons and seized an undetermined amount of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and cash--as well as five automobiles and two limousines--following a series of arrests late Friday night.
Police Lt. John Wilson said the limousines were operated by Jina’s Limousines, 520 N. Quince St.
Arrested on a variety of drug-related charges were Luis Ornelas, 42, and Robert Zarcho, 35, both of Escondido; Martin Zacarias, 22, and Amelea Largher, 39, both of Los Angeles; Jaime Zendejas, 26, and Miguel Perez, 21, both of San Diego, and three men whose ages and addresses were unknown: Brian Campbell, David Drake and Miguel Medina.
A police department spokesman said no other information was available, including how, when or where the arrests occurred.
