FULLERTON : Library to Sponsor After-School Club
The Fullerton Public Library will begin a weekly after-school club later this month for all city children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
The club, which will feature educational seminars, animals and demonstrations, is intended to encourage reading and introduce children to a variety of experiences and fields of study.
The first of the club’s sessions, featuring a magician, will be held at 4 p.m. next Tuesday at the Main Library and on Sept. 19 at the Hunt Branch Library. Each club meeting will last about 45 minutes.
The Main Library is at 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., and the Hunt Branch is at 201 S. Basque Ave.
