Duarte : Suspects in Shooting Sought

Authorities this week sought suspects in the slaying of 28-year-old Christopher Pontikes of Duarte, who was shot outside a house in the 2600 block of Thorpe Avenue in the Cypress Park area of northeast Los Angeles.
Pontikes was attending a party Sunday night when members of a gang arrived and gunfire erupted, Los Angeles police said.
Friends took Pontikes to County-USC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
