Agassi, McEnroe Meet at Forum
Andre Agassi, ranked eighth in the world, and John McEnroe, ranked 26th, meet tonight at 7 in a tennis exhibition at the Forum.
McEnroe, third on the all-time victory list with 74 singles titles, holds a 2-1 advantage over Agassi in professional competition. The last time they met, in 1989, McEnroe won when Agassi retired in the second set in Dallas.
In the recent U.S. Open, Agassi was beaten in the opening round by Aaron Krickstein, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3), 6-2. McEnroe lost in the third round to Michael Chang, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-1), 2-6, 6-3.
