A decomposed body found near a Glendale recreation center has been identified as that of Adline Ouzounian, 64, who sold and repaired Persian rugs at her Hollywood apartment, Glendale police said.

Detective John McKillop said Ouzounian, who apparently died of a gunshot wound to the torso, was identified by her jewelry and handmade clothing. Her body was found Sept. 9, in a brushy area near the city’s Scholl Canyon tennis complex.

McKillop said Ouzounian was last seen the evening of July 26, walking near her apartment in the 1000 block of North Normandie Avenue. He said Ouzounian’s family has offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of her killer.
