Autopsy on Kicker Shows Little
An autopsy on the body of Texas A&M; kicker James Glenn, who died suddenly on the field, did not immediately disclose a cause of death.
Glenn, 19, a freshman walk-on player from League City, Tex., was “just loosening up,” according to teammates, at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday before the Aggies’ practice when he collapsed on the field. He was pronounced dead at a hospital 35 minutes later.
“This incident that occurred with this athlete could have occurred walking across campus, in the dorm, at the movie or just as well on the football field,” Dr. Jesse Parr said.
Parr, who said Glenn had a heart problem that was evaluated when he was in high school, plans further tests.
