Doctors in London resumed their efforts to reduce the swelling of Michael Watson’s brain as the British boxer remained in critical condition.

“His condition continues to be grave and he remains under anesthetic on a life support machine,” according to a statement released by St. Bartholomew’s hospital.

Watson, 26, has undergone two brain operations since being knocked out by Chris Eubank Saturday in a World Boxing Organization super-middleweight title fight.
