Coach John Robinson indicated that Kevin Greene might be moved permanently from the right side to the left side--and possibly switched back to linebacker.
Greene, who had been sackless as the team’s right defensive end after having led the league in sacks over a three-year period as the left linebacker, lined up as a stand-up left end Sunday and got his first sack of the season.
“He keeps saying he’s more effective there,” Robinson said. “We felt like this was the week to take a look at him there. . . . You might even think of Kevin as an outside linebacker over on the left side and begin to blitz more.”
After taking Monday and today off, the Rams will practice Wednesday through Friday, take the bye weekend off, then have a full week of practices beginning next Monday.
