Man, 33, Found Shot Dead in Pickup Truck
The body of a North Hollywood man who had been shot to death was found early Wednesday sitting upright in his pickup truck, Los Angeles police said.
Jose Armando Delgado, 33, died of bullet wounds in the chest, police said.
Residents in the 6400 block of Beck Avenue heard gunshots about 45 minutes past midnight, police said. They then discovered Delgado’s body in the truck, parked on their street, Detective Sonny Medina said.
Delgado, who was married and had two children, lived in the area but not on that street, police said. The shooting did not appear to be gang-related, police said.
