Two men and two juveniles were in custody Saturday after allegedly shooting into a police car in North Hollywood on Friday night.

Police said Officers Michael Patriquin, 29, and Miguel Quintero, 25, were not hurt in the attack, which occurred about 9:30 p.m. as they were interviewing a gang member outside their squad car near the intersection of Radford Avenue and Vanowen Street.

At least two shots were fired from a passing car, one shooting out the rear window of the police car, according to Officer Mike Schwehr at detective headquarters division.

Patriquin and Quintero radioed a description of the car, a green Camaro, which was stopped by other officers a short time later near Sherman Way and the Hollywood Freeway.

The two adult suspects, Jaime J. Sifuentes, 19, of Sepulveda and Hector Acosta Castrellon, 18, of Van Nuys, were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on police officers, North Hollywood Police Sgt. Mike Mc Kean said.

He said the two juveniles were taken to Juvenile Hall.
