NHL : Vancouver Gets Past Toronto, 4-1

Cliff Ronning and Sergio Momesso scored unassisted goals 11 seconds apart early in the third period and the Vancouver Canucks went on to a 4-1 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday night at Vancouver.
The Canucks improved their record to 7-1-1 and increased their Smythe Division lead over the second-place Kings to five points.
Ronning ‘s fifth goal of the season at 2:10 of the final period broke a 1-1 tie and Momesso scored his fifth goal at 2:21.
Garry Valk added an empty-net goal with eight seconds left.
Trevor Linden’s sixth goal gave Vancouver a 1-0 lead 44 seconds into the second period. Peter Zezel got Toronto even at 6:25.
