Lennon Erotica: A rare set of sketches by John Lennon depicting intimate scenes of his honeymoon with wife Yoko Ono went on sale Tuesday at a London gallery. Lennon, who trained as an artist before his career with the Beatles, gave Ono a series of 20 sketches to mark the first days of their married life and later had a limited edition of print sets made from the sketches. No price is attached to the set, which is insured for $77,500, and the gallery is inviting offers. The drawings caused a furor when they were first exhibited in London in 1970 and police raided the gallery after complaints from the public.
