FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. Carson: Southbound on-ramp from eastbound 223rd Street; 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday; guardrail repair.

2. Wilmington: Northbound No. 4 lane from Pacific Coast Highway to Bixby Slough, plus the Pacific Coast Highway on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday; guardrail repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

3. Bell: Southbound No. 4 lane from Atlantic Boulevard to Cheli Depot, plus the Bandini Boulevard on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; stencil repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

4. Long Beach: Northbound on-ramp at Palo Verde Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; guardrail repair.

5. Long Beach: Southbound off-ramp to southbound Lakewood Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; guardrail repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

6. Norwalk: Northbound on-ramp at Alondra Boulevard; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m Monday; landscaping.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

7. Commerce: Southbound on-ramp at Triggs Street; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

8. Downey: Northbound No. 4 lane at the San Gabriel River bridge, plus the southbound and northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) connectors to the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5); 6 to 11 a.m. today; bridge repair.
