The Denver Nuggets signed rookie Mark Macon, 22, and reached agreement with Walter Davis, 37.
Macon signed a reported five-year deal worth about $7.5 million hours before the Nuggets were to play at Golden State in the season opener.
Davis agreed to a multiyear contract that brings him back to the city where he played two seasons before being traded to Portland last winter.
