Dale Earnhardt holds a 157-point lead over Ricky Rudd in the NASCAR Winston Cup driver championship going into today’s Pyroil 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
Earnhardt goes into the 500-lap race on the one-mile oval 203 points ahead of Davey Allison and 263 ahead of Harry Gant.
