Police announced the arrests of four men wanted in connection with two separate killings in recent weeks.

Three men believed to be Asian gang members were arrested last week in connection with the Oct. 30 drive-by shooting of a 15-year-old East San Diego youth, according to Lt. Tom Warden.

Jesus Octavio Velez of the 4100 block of Wabash Avenue was shot several times after groups of Asian and Hispanic youths exchanged words in Colina Park in the 5100 block of Orange Avenue, police said Sunday.

On Friday, police detectives arrested Ra Reth, 19, who, police said, is an East San Diego Asian gang member. The following day, they arrested Thai Seng, 20, and a 16-year-old youth that they also identified as members of the Asian street gang.

The vehicle believed to have been used in the shooting also was recovered, detectives said.

Police also have arrested a 28-year-old man wanted in connection with the robbery and shooting death of Eric Obando DeLeon, 19, who was attacked and robbed inside his home by two thieves who stole $100, police said.

On Thursday, detectives arrested Danny Neabors, who was being held Sunday in the County Jail. A second suspect in the robbery and murder was still being sought.
