Camp Kilpatrick 63, Masada 0--Camp Kilpatrick scored on seven of its eight possessions and added two touchdowns and a safety on defense to roll at Aviation Park in Manhattan Beach.

The Mustangs (6-3-1, 4-1) will claim a share of the league title for the second consecutive season if Hamilton (7-2, 3-1) defeats Linfield (8-1, 4-0) Saturday night. Masada finished 2-7, 1-4.

Camp Kilpatrick, which equaled a school record for points, gained just 176 yards because each of the Mustangs’ eight possessions started in Masada territory.

Running backs Gamal Baseer, Shane Davis, Hubert Rush and Anthony Bell each scored touchdowns on their first carry in the first quarter.

The Mustang defense yielded minus-18 yards. Camp Kilpatrick is allowing an average of 114.3 yards a game.

Robert Kirkwood scored on a 30-yard run on a fumble recovery to give the Mustangs a 33-0 lead as time expired in the first quarter.

It was Kirkwood’s third fumble recovery and return for a touchdown this season.

Carlos Hardy scored on a fumble return of two yards in the third quarter, and Steven Blount tackled Masada quarterback Riley Smith in the end zone for a safety on the Knights’ opening possession of the second half.
