The interfaith satellite network VISN, whose programs emphasize ethics, cultural values and faith, says it has passed the 10-million mark in households reached.

With the addition of 12 cable systems--including outlets in Louisville, Ky.; Charlotte, N.C.; Rochester, N.Y., and Birmingham, Ala.--network President Nelson Price said VISN is carried on 672 systems.

He said this raises total distribution to 10.3 million subscribers.

The 24-hour network is operated by a consortium of 54 denominations and faith groups.

“When viewers tune in to VISN for the first time, they will gain deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse roles than faith plays in American life,” Price said.
