In Big West Conference women’s volleyball:

Cal State Fullerton 3, Utah State 2--The Titans (6-27, 2-13) ended a 13-match losing streak and Becky Howlett’s 34 kills were two shy of her school record set last season. Stephanie Scofield’s 21 kills increased her career total to 755, moving her into third place on Fullerton’s all-time list.

In California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s volleyball:

Cal State Dominguez Hills 3, Chapman 0--Debi Waller had 20 kills for visiting Chapman (20-16, 7-4). Heather Perini had 22 kills for Dominguez Hills (18-20, 4-7).
