SOUTHLAND ROUNDUP : Redlands Loses Playoff Chances
Cassidy O’Sullivan ran for 142 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns as Cal Lutheran (5-5) ended Redlands’ chances of reaching the NCAA Division III playoffs, 21-10, Saturday at Thousand Oaks.
Redlands (8-2) built a 10-0 lead in the first half on Shaun Trejo’s 13-yard touchdown run and John Thebeau’s 21-yard field goal.
CS Sacramento 55, CS Northridge 12--Bobby Fresques passed for 306 yards and three touchdowns as the Hornets (8-2, 3-2) routed the Matadors (3-7, 1-4) in a Western conference game at Sacramento.
San Diego 28, Occidental 19--Willie Branch rushed for 156 yards and a touchdown as the Toreros (7-3) downed the Tigers (5-4) at Eagle Rock.
