Free agent Bobby Bonilla, who is expected to get a deal in excess of $25 million for five years, met with Philadelphia Phillie officials.
Bonilla, who played six seasons for the Pittsburgh Pirates, is scheduled to meet today in New York with Met General Manager Al Harazin.
Bonilla, who made $2.4 million in 1991 after losing in salary arbitration, also has meetings scheduled with the Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals and the Angels. The San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees also have expressed interest in Bonilla.
