5.7 Quake Hits Aleutians; No Reports of Injuries

PALMER, Alaska —
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 shook residents of Adak in the Aleutian Islands early Tuesday. Objects were knocked off shelves, but there were no reports of injuries or significant damage, a spokesman for the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said.
